Messier 22<\/strong> veya M22 , NGC 6656<\/strong> veya B\u00fcy\u00fck Yay K\u00fcmesi<\/strong> olarak da bilinen , Galaktik \u015fi\u015fkinlik <\/a>b\u00f6lgesinin<\/a> yak\u0131n\u0131nda, Yay<\/a> tak\u0131my\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131nda bulunan eliptik bir k\u00fcresel <\/a>y\u0131ld\u0131z<\/a> k\u00fcmesidir. Gece g\u00f6ky\u00fcz\u00fcnde g\u00f6r\u00fclebilen en parlak k\u00fcresel y\u0131ld\u0131z k\u00fcmelerinden biridir. En parlak y\u0131ld\u0131zlar 11. kadirdedir ve 8 in\u00e7lik bir teleskopla \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmlenebilecek kadar parlak y\u00fczlerce y\u0131ld\u0131z i\u00e7erir.  Aral\u0131k ortas\u0131nda g\u00fcne\u015fin konumunun<\/a> hemen g\u00fcneyinde ve “\u00c7aydanl\u0131k ” <\/a>y\u0131ld\u0131z k\u00fcmesinin en kuzeydeki y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131 olan <\/a>Lambda Sagittarii’nin<\/a> (Kaus Borealis) kuzeydo\u011fusundad\u0131r .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M22, 1665 y\u0131l\u0131nda Abraham Ihle <\/a> taraf\u0131ndan ke\u015ffedilen ilk k\u00fcresel y\u0131ld\u0131z k\u00fcmelerinden biriydi ve 1764 y\u0131l\u0131nda Charles Messier’in <\/a>kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z<\/a> benzeri nesneler katalo\u011funa dahil edildi.  1930 y\u0131l\u0131nda Harlow Shapley<\/a> taraf\u0131ndan dikkatlice incelenen ilk k\u00fcresel y\u0131ld\u0131z k\u00fcmelerinden biriydi. Shapley , k\u00fcmenin i\u00e7ine yakla\u015f\u0131k 70.000 y\u0131ld\u0131z yerle\u015ftirdi ve yo\u011fun bir \u00e7ekirde\u011fe sahip oldu\u011funu buldu. Daha sonra Halton Arp<\/a> ve William G. Melbourne<\/a> 1959’da \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na devam etti. Omega Centauri’dekine benzer \u015fekilde, <\/a>k\u0131rm\u0131z\u0131 dev dal\u0131n\u0131n<\/a> (RGB) dizisinin geni\u015f renk da\u011f\u0131l\u0131m\u0131 nedeniyle , 1977’den itibaren James E. M22, D\u00fcnya’ya<\/a> en yak\u0131n k\u00fcresel y\u0131ld\u0131z k\u00fcmelerinden biridir – yakla\u015f\u0131k 10.600 \u0131\u015f\u0131k y\u0131l\u0131<\/a> uzakl\u0131ktad\u0131r. G\u00f6ky\u00fcz\u00fcnde 32 ‘<\/a> geni\u015fli\u011findedir, bu da tahmini uzakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6z \u00f6n\u00fcne al\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131nda \u00e7ap\u0131n\u0131n (geni\u015fli\u011finin) 99 \u00b1 9 \u0131\u015f\u0131k y\u0131l\u0131 oldu\u011fu anlam\u0131na gelir.
